AI April at the Austin Forum: A Month of Exploration and Learning

Apr 14

Join the Austin Forum for AI April, a month to deepen your understanding of AI and its impact on society. We kicked things off with “The Next Wave of Generative AI”. Google’s Andy Gates delved into the latest advancements in generative AI, including the rise of AI agents and the potential impact of these technologies. We followed that up with a collaborative meetup, “Best LLM & GenAI Pro Tips, Tricks & Hacks”, where AI enthusiasts shared best practices and tips on the latest AI tools.

But there's a lot more to come! We have a packed schedule of events the rest of the month, all designed to increase your AI understanding and deepen your skills:

  • Boost Your Coding Productivity: An Introduction to AI-Powered Development: Tuesday, April 29th, Noon-1 p.m. Online. Edward Cates and Nathan Mandi, two Senior Machine Learning Engineers at KUNGFU.AI, will show you how to build beautiful websites with alarming speed through the use of Windsurf, an open-source AI-powered development environment (similar to Cursor AI).
  • Black Mirror & AI: Reality Check - A Special Screening and Panel: Wednesday, April 30th, 6:45-9:45 PM at Violet Crown Cinema. Watch two thought-provoking episodes followed by a panel discussion with AI experts.

We encourage you to sign up to these events, join the conversation and learn more about the future of AI!
